Who is eligible for this plate?
Any owner of a motor vehicle required to be registered under KRS186.050 (1) passenger or (3) (A) 6,000 lb. commercial vehicles.

Steps Required:
If the vehicle has a "regular" registration plate, that plate must be turned in to the County Clerk.

Initial Cost and Cost each time a new plate is issued:
$50.00

Annual Renewal Cost:
$20.00

Decal Expires:
Customer's Birth Month

Remarks:
This plate may be issued to any 6,000 lb. commercial or passenger vehicle owned, leased, or provided by an employer. The initial cost includes $10.00 which goes to the Child Victim Trust Fund. The renewal cost includes $5.00 which also goes to the Child Victim Trust Fund. This type of plate is issued every five years, and will be replaced in the year 2003 and every 5th year after.
